“Towards Children’s Well-Being in Europe” has been translated into Italian by Fondazione Albero della Vita and CILAP EAPN Italia

Eurochild and the Eruopean Anti Poverty Network (EAPN) joined forces two years ago to produce the Explainer “Towards Children’s Well-Being in Europe”. Since then, the publication has been translated into eight different languages, being Italian the latest version published.

Publication’s translation is a joint effort of CILAP EAPN Italia and Fondazione Albero della Vita (Italian member of Eurochhild), which has also written the final chapter focused on the situation of child poverty in the country.

“Towards Children’s Well-Being in Europe” aims to raise public awareness on child poverty in Europe and on the devastating effects it has on lives of children and families as well as on society as a whole.

The Explainer challenges the myths around child poverty, provides arguments and concrete solutions at EU, national, local and individual levels to help stakeholders mobilize around the implementation of the European Commission Recommendation.

It highlights effective solutions that can help to fight child poverty and promote the well-being of all children and families, particularly in times of austerity and public spending cuts.

The Explainer is available for download also in English and Estonian.
